Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre
Overview
The Rural Family Medicine (RFM) program in Red Deer offers opportunities for individuals and or families to feel at home and become part of a community. We take 10 residents each year and take pride in creating a cohesiveness within the group.
There are five RFM rotation sites that are located within a 55 Km radius of Red Deer allowing you commute from home and stay with your family more often. You also have access to over 20 additional sites throughout AB if you wish to practice outside of the Central Zone.
We hold monthly Wellness mornings and gather three times a year with Grande Prairie and Yellowknife at Rural workshops. Red Deer is centrally located and there are many beautiful attractions within a few short hours drive.
