The Family Medicine Interest Group (FMIG) is a student-led group at the University of Alberta dedicated to raising awareness about the benefits of family medicine. The FMIG aims to increase exposure to family medicine throughout undergraduate and graduate education, and help students recognize the crucial role it plays in our healthcare system. The group hosts a myriad of events throughout the year, which offer students opportunities to meet one another and make connections with residents and physicians in general practice.
