Once you accept your admission offer, you need to pay your tuition deposit to secure your place and become eligible to register for your courses.
Tuition Deposit - For New Undergraduate Students
New/incoming undergraduate students who have been offered admission must pay a non-refundable $5,000 Tuition Deposit before they can be issued a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL), which is required for the Study Permit application, and become eligible to register for courses. For students already in Canada, the tuition deposit is $1,000. The deposit is non-refundable apart from in the event of a study permit refusal or if you are denied admission.
Newly admitted students can pay their tuition deposit using the UAlberta Launchpad. This deposit will be credited towards the final tuition amount.
