This course reviews advanced dermal fillers, facial analysis, and hands-on injection training with chair-side guidance.

Course Overview
Summary
Training consists of a theory and hands-on module where participants will review facial analysis, explore the cosmetic unit to treat, and types of filler material to use.
During the hands-on module participants will have the opportunity to practice injections on 6 live patients with chairside guidance and an initial instructor demo.
To facilitate clinical confidence, this course consists of didactic lectures, a clinical anatomic cadaver lab, and injection practice where participants will have the opportunity to administer injections with chair side assistance.
Because this course consists of injection practice, we highly recommend that participants bring their RDAs. Learn more about our Neuromodulators Assistant course.
Syllabus
Prior to the start of the course we recommend 2-3 weeks of self-study to review the materials.
Theory Module - Review of Facial Analysis
During the anatomical cadaver lab and didactic lectures we will explore deep injections with fillers for facial rejuvenation.
This module will cover the following subjects:
- Cosmetic unit to treat and filler material selection
- Deep and infratemporal injections
- Review facial analysis of the - Chin, Malar region/Cheek region, Nasal Bridge, Infra-orbital sulcus, Glabellar region, Forehead region, Lips, and Marionette Lines
Hands-on Module - Injection Practice
During this module participants will inject 6 live patients with chair side guidance after an initial instructor demo. Emphasis will be placed on:
- Patient assessment
- Patient Consult
- Product Selection & techniques
Prerequisites
- This course is open to dentists, physicians, pharmacists, LPNs and RNs.
- Registrants must have completed up to Neuromodulator Level 4A and allowed at least 12 months to have elapsed.
- Registrants must obtain a portfolio of 20 patient cases.
