Day of Dentistry

The Mike Petryk School of Dentistry hosts a day dedicated to vendors and companies to come in and provide the students with the most up-to-date information on their services, products, technology and advancements in all aspects of dentistry and dental hygiene. This day is called, the ‘Day of Dentistry’ and will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, at the Lister Centre on the University of Alberta campus.

Day of Dentistry provides students with the unique opportunity to connect with vendors and companies who they will be working with in the future as they enter practice or post-grad careers. This day gives students the chance to expand their knowledge of what it takes to build and maintain successful careers. While educational programs and academics give them the tools to be good clinicians, connecting with vendors gives them the tools necessary to become sufficiently well-rounded oral health-care professionals.
