Supports for Success
Description
This workshop will provide attendees with practical tools and key human connections that can help you be successful with research projects. A broad panel will present on ethics, RSO and grant management, database development, research specific regulations, and training opportunities.
Objectives
- Provide a broad overview of the components that comprise a successful research project
- Discuss support systems designed to help researchers feel more secure in setting up and maintaining their projects
- Review ethics applications, the role of the board/ethics team, and supports in place to help
- Convince you to let go of Excel and adopt REDCap for your database needs
- Review money management and now to navigate financial systems
Target Audience
All faculty members engaged in research activity. This workshop will cover material for a beginner to intermediate level researcher.
Facilitation
This 2-hour workshop will be delivered in a hybrid manner - online via zoom for those at a distance and in-person in ECHA for those on campus. It is being presented by the team of:
