Real Estate Services advises U of A how to best manage its real estate assets. We acquire and divest of land and buildings, and manage property rentals and leases. Our extensive services support U of A's vision and long-range plans.

What we do

Property management

• Manage university-occupied properties
• Manage university-owned properties occupied by third parties
• Manage select income-producing ancillary properties
• Oversee property taxes for university-owned and university-occupied properties

Transactions

• Manage university real estate acquisitions and dispositions
• Gain board approvals, resolutions and Orders in Council for real estate transactions

Planning

• We coordinate with the appropriate teams to support the university's Long Range Development Plan
• Develop, consolidate and subdivide university land
• Help investigate and carry out real-estate-related strategic plans
