Key Requisition + Lock Services
Key and lock services are used when individuals with approval require a new or replacement key and/or lock.

Before you submit your request — Do you have the required information?
You’ll need the following information to submit your request:
- Approval from your department/unit
If you are unsure about whether you have approval, speak to your primary department contact for more information. - A completed Lock Change and Key Requisition form, which you will be prompted to upload when you submit
- Speedcode/account information
- Your name and ONEcard ID number (or the name and ID number for the person who will pick up the keys)
Please note, ONEcard will be required for pick up.
After you submit your request — What happens now?
Your request has been logged! Now please give the service team some time to review and resource your request. Key requisitions and lock services are a priority 5 request based on U of A’s maintenance response standards. Urgent requests can be submitted; additional costs may apply.
You’ll receive a notification email once your request is complete. You can also track your request in the facilities and operations fixit portal by clicking Process in the top left navigation.
