ONEcard or key required for North Campus Buildings

Please be aware that you’ll need your ONEcard or key to access the following facilities on North Campus for the 2024 Spring/Summer term. We appreciate your patience as U of A teams work to keep our campuses safe and welcoming.
Follow guidance or instructions on any posted signage in the affected areas. Your vigilance and assistance in following any posted signage is greatly appreciated.

- Centennial Centre for Interdisciplinary Science II (CCIS II)
- Assiniboia, Athabasca, and Pembina Halls

Help is available for special accommodations due to accessibility concerns or if you encounter persistent access issues. For questions or concerns, contact the Facilities Services Partner for your department or facility.
If you notice a hazard on a walkway, sidewalk or elsewhere around campus, submit a maintenance request. In the case of an emergency always dial 911 first and then call University of Alberta Protective Services at 780-492-5050.
UPDATE
May 6, 2024 - 8:00 a.m.: Technical issues with access control have been resolved for buildings adjacent to the Main Quad.
May 2, 2024 - 7:00 p.m.: U of A Facilities teams are aware of a technical issue with the card access readers for South Academic Building (SAB), Centennial Centre for Interdisciplinary Science II (CCIS II) and Biological Sciences (Bio Sci) resulting in some users having difficulties accessing these facilities, even with their ONEcard. Teams are currently working to resolve these technical issues as soon as possible, and we thank you for your cooperation and patience.
