School of Dentistry Education Research Fund (SDERF)

The Mike Petryk School of Dentistry Education Research Fund (SDERF) aims to stimulate and support educational research and applied scholarship to teaching. All faculty involved in teaching in the School of Dentistry at the University of Alberta are eligible to apply for funding. A graduate student may be the principal investigator of the grant; however, the student's supervisor must co-sign the application as co-PI. The maximum amount of a grant awarded by the SDERF is $3,000 and the maximum term is 3 years.

The annual call for SDERF is in the Spring and depending on the availability of funds, there might be special calls in the Fall.
