IV Sedation
Anxious about visiting the dentist?
Licensed dentists offer free basic dental work for patients wanting to participate in our IV sedation clinic training days. Patients will be intravenously administered a sedative to receive dental treatment safely and comfortably. Care is provided by licensed dentists who are participating in our continuing dental education program.
Eligibility criteria
- Healthy adult without existing health or medical concerns (18 years and older)
- Not pregnant
- Have a BMI below 35*
- Must be willing to receive IV sedation every appointment
- May be somewhat anxious about dental treatment – although you do not necessarily need to be an anxious patient. This program is open to anyone eligible.
*An accurate measure of height and weight is required during the screening process.

- Check-ups
- Fillings
- Simple extractions
Appointments are available on select days in February, May, July, November and December (appointments will be available on five days during each session).
