For Researchers:
Our research station is located within a Provincial Park; all researchers conducting research within Park boundaries must obtain a Research and Collection Permit from the Province. The permitting process occurs through their Online Permitting and Clearance System (OPAC). Having trouble applying through OPAC? Follow our step-by-step guide.
Additional permits may also be required, depending on the scope of your project. See a list of frequently required permits here.
Ethics approvals may also be required through the University of Alberta through the Research Ethics Office, or through your home institution.
