Where is orientation?
2-004 (Epp Room), 2nd Floor Forum
At International Student Orientation you will:
- Learn about the facilities and services available to you on campus
- Learn how to secure health care, banking and mobile phone services
- Learn important information about study permits and working in Canada
- Learn some Canadian classroom basics and find out what to expect during your first term
- Develop relationships with other students
- Learn about upcoming events, volunteering and opportunities to be engaged at Augustana
Student success is directly linked to participating in orientation; it is an opportunity to build your academic support and social networks. Orientation is a big step towards making your campus your home away from home. All new international students are strongly encouraged to attend.

From the Edmonton International Airport (YEG)
You can take a taxi to Camrose. The drive from the Edmonton International Airport to the Augustana Campus takes approximately one hour.

The flat-rate fare to Camrose is $135 (CAD).
- Confirm the fare with the driver before departing.
- Make sure that you have sufficient Canadian currency available before hiring a taxi. Automated teller machines and International Currency Exchange (ICE) are located on Level 1 (the Arrivals & Baggage Claim level).
