Alan and Valerie Fielding Leadership Scholarship
Awarded to students with superior academic achievement enrolled in any year of an undergraduate degree at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on academic standing and demonstrated leadership, community engagement, volunteerism and/or involvement in extracurricular activities. Preference given to students who are members of an Augustana Choir.

Alberta Union of Provincial Employees Award
Awarded to an AUPE member in good standing and/or their spouse, and/or their financial dependent, and/or a dependent of a retired or deceased member (within a period of ten years or retirement/death) with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Dependents must be under the age of 25. Preference will be given to a student who has not received this award previously. Special consideration will be given to past members who enroll full time within the first year following job elimination.

Alice M. Stolee Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of demonstrated involvement in student activities, academic standing, and financial need. Preference will be given to a student pursuing a career in Christian ministry or teaching.

Alice Stolee believes the best part of teaching was "…that moment when it began to dawn on a child that he or she could read." Alice graduated with her teaching certificate from Camrose Normal School and then obtained her Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta. Her career as a teacher began in various communities in Alberta before taking her to Japan for 13 years, where she taught in both Tokyo and Sapporo. Following her retirement from teaching in 1974, she worked part-time in the Camrose Lutheran College Library and continues to be an active member of her church.

Allen & Rebecca Berger Augustana Scholarship
Awarded to students with superior academic achievement enrolled in the second year of an undergraduate degree at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on academic standing and demonstrated engagement and leadership on campus. Preference given to students who are on a study permit. This scholarship is renewable for an additional two years subject to superior academic achievement on a full normal course load in each year and continued enrollment at Augustana Faculty.

Andrew and Mina Solheim Memorial Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty with a major or minor in History and/or a major in Philosophy and Religion or minor in religion. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing.

Rev. Andrew Solheim (1882 - 1952) immigrated to Canada from Norway in 1911. He became one of the first teachers and principals of Camrose Lutheran College (CLC). Mina (Lyseng) Solheim (1885 - 1981) received her teaching certificate in 1912 and returned home to Armena, taking a position as home economics teacher at CLC. After their marriage in 1914, Mina devoted her life to her husband and seven children. Mina had a keen interest in the College and through the years several students worked for room and board at the Solheims' so that they could attend the institution. This award was established in 1985 by their daughter Mildred to honor her parents' memory.

Anton and Norma Olson Memorial Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing entering in the second, third, or fourth year of an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of participation in the Student Chaplain Program and financial need.

Arthur Tonn Memorial Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement and financial need. Preference will be given to a student with a major in Mathematics and Physics or a minor in Mathematics.

Arthur Tonn (1906 - 2000) was born to a family with seven children; his parents were originally from Russia. He spent most of his life grain farming in Humbolt and then in Lacombe and Camrose. Arthur valued education and his self-started endowment is the seed which will provide the ongoing opportunity for students to grow.

Augustana Class of 1969 Bursary: currently building the endowment
Awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of an undergraduate degree at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on demonstrated financial need. Preference given to Non-Matriculated students.

Augustana Community Endowment Fund Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing.

Augustana Faculty Bursary: currently building the endowment
Awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of an undergraduate degree at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on demonstrated financial need.

Augustana University College 90th Anniversary Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing.

Augustana University College Board of Regents Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time student with superior academic achievement enrolled in the second, third or fourth year of an Augustana Faculty undergraduate degree program. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement and demonstrated leadership qualities with significant contributions to Augustana.

Betsy Ness Scott Entrance Citation
Awarded to a student entering an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty based on superior academic achievement (minimum award average of 95% or equivalent) in grades 10, 11, and 12. Receipt of funding for the second, third, and fourth years is contingent upon achieving a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a full normal course load of which at least 9 credits per term must be taken at Augustana Faculty.

Bill & Berdie Fowler Entrance Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing entering the first year of an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on Grade 11 and/or Grade 12 final marks. Renewal for second, third and fourth year of study is based on maintaining satisfactory academic standing on a full normal course load and continuing studies at Augustana Faculty.

Bryan Rayment Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement.

Bryan Rayment (1957 - 1970) passed away at the young age of thirteen years. He was a happy, caring child and will live forever in the hearts of family and his many friends.

Camrose Rotary Club Dr. Dunbar Memorial Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree at Augustana Faculty with a major or minor in Biology. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing.

Dr. Ira William Dunbar (1894 - 1984) was an exemplary man who showed dedication to anything he became involved in including his dentistry, executive positions, fishing and curling. Dr. Dunbar was involved in the Air Cadets and was district Governer of the Rotary Club in 1972-73. The Dr. Dunbar Memorial endowment was instigated in 1985 by local dentists and was supported with additional funds by the Camrose Rotary Club.

Canadian Summer School in Germany 35th Anniversary Award
Awarded to University of Alberta student(s) registered in the Canadian Summer School in Germany (CSSG) study abroad program in Kassel, Germany. The Award will only be tenable for participation in the CSSG program as long as this program is offered. Should the program cease to be offered, preference for the use of these funds would be directed to University of Alberta students enrolled in University of Alberta programs or initiatives where the study experience occurs in Germany. Selection based on academic standing, demonstrated involvement in extracurricular and community activities and financial need. Recipients may receive only one Canadian Summer School in Germany 35th Anniversary Award in any given academic year.

CFCW Scholarship
Awarded to student with superior academic achievement enrolled in second, third, or fourth year of an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty with a major or minor in Drama, English, or Music. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement. Preference will be given to a student who is a member of a visible minority.

Cindy Ann Haywood Memorial Award in Music
Awarded to a resident of Alberta with satisfactory academic standing entering an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on academic standing and involvement in High School music activities, with preference given to a student who has been involved in the Camrose Composite High School Music program.

City of Camrose Terry Fox Marathon of Hope Award
Awarded to a returning student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty with a major or minor in Physical Education. Selection will be made on the basis of demonstrated leadership and academic standing. Preference will be given to a student from Camrose, the County of Camrose, or any municipality within the County of Camrose.

Clarence and Thea Magneson Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty with a major or minor in Music. Selection will be made on the basis of academic achievement.

Clarence (1891 - 1973) and Thea (1892 - 1983) Magneson married in 1913 and moved to a homestead near Calgary where they were blessed with four children. In 1933 they relocated to Camrose and lived for 34 years on College Street (49th Street). They warmly welcomed people into their home and as many as five students lived with them during a school year. Over the years, all four of their children, ten of fourteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren
attended Camrose Lutheran/ Augustana. The scholarship was established by their family in 1975.

Clarice B. Olafson Award
Awarded to an Alberta resident with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of demonstrated leadership, academic standing, and financial need. Preference will be given to a student with a major or minor in a Fine Arts program.

Clarice (Skaret) and Arthur Olafson married in 1946 and settled down to farm in the communities of Rolling Hills and Armena. Clarice held the petition of Cook and then Head Cook at Camrose Lutheran College for nearly twenty five years. She loved her job and her association with all of the staff and students and it is largely for this reason that her children and extended family set up this endowed award in her honor.

Claude and Ivy (Elmquist) May Award
Awarded to student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing, financial need, and demonstrated service to students, community, and to the Augustana Faculty.

Cora Martinson Scholarship
Awarded to students who are a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident with superior academic achievement entering any year of an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on academic standing. Preference given to students with indicated financial need. Renewal of funding for second, third, and fourth year is contingent upon achieving a minimum GPA of 2.0 on a minimum 24 credits over the most recent September to August period. Augustana students who are recipients of this scholarship and choose to complete their program at another U of A Faculty are eligible to continue receiving renewal funding so long as the GPA and course load requirements are met. 

Cora Martinson International Scholarship
Awarded to students on a Study Permit with superior academic achievement entering any year of an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on academic standing. Preference given to students with indicated financial need. Renewal of funding for second, third, and fourth year is contingent upon achieving a minimum GPA of 2.0 on a minimum 24 credits over the most recent September to August period. Augustana students who are recipients of this scholarship and choose to complete their program at another U of A Faculty are eligible to continue receiving renewal funding so long as the GPA and course load requirements are met.

David Lynn Bennett Memorial Award
Awarded to an Alberta resident from the Bashaw area with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing and financial need.

David Lynn Bennett (1920 - 2000) earned his Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta in 1951. He and his wife Marion taught in a number of schools in southern and central Alberta until he became principal of Bashaw School in 1957, a position he retained until he retired 20 years later. To commemorate Lynn's service as a teacher and principal to the young people of Alberta, especially to students of the Bashaw School, his family established the David Lynn Bennett Memorial Scholarship.

Dianne Precht Memorial Scholarship in Music
Awarded to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty with a major or minor in Music. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement. Preference will be given to students with a major in Piano.

Dianne Precht (1946 - 1990) had a lifetime love of music. She earned her ARCT Piano Teacher Diploma from the University of Toronto before returning home to Alberta where she taught piano for over 25 years. As a member of the Camrose Lutheran President's Club which contributed to the building fund for the Faith and Life Centre on Augustana Campus, she was particularly interested in supporting the goal of an on-campus home for the pipe organ, an achievement which was reached in October 1990. The scholarship was established in 1991 by her family.

Dorothy Clapson Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a student on a study permit with satisfactory academic standing continuing in an undergraduate degree at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on academic standing, demonstrated financial need and demonstrated contributions made to campus life. Preference given to a student with Hong King citizenship.

Dorothy Clapson, known affectionately as "Gram", was a long time resident of Camrose who in her later years became a special friend to the students of Augustana by opening both her home and heart. Dorothy began a ministry that saw a caring woman from a small prairie city, thousands of miles from Asia, reach out and give friendship and support to countless young Chinese students.

Dorothy Sherwood Memorial Scholarship in Music
Awarded to students with superior academic achievement enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts with a major in music or a Bachelor of Music at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on academic standing.

Doug and Gail Peterson Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the second year of the Bachelor of Management in Business Economics at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing and financial need.

Dr. Craig W. and Jacqueline D. Norstrom Award
Awarded to a member of an Augustana athletic team who has satisfactory academic standing and is enrolled in the second year of an undergraduate degree program and who has special interest in Medical Sciences. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing and financial need.

Dr. Craig Norstrom attended Camrose Lutheran College in 1944-1945. After graduating with his medical degree from the University of Alberta, he interned at the Calgary General Hospital. He received his masters in neurosurgery from the University of Minnesota and went on to work for the Mayo Clinic and University of Texas Medical Branch. Jacqueline attended St. Mary's School of Nursing and supported her husband through his years of medical training. She continues to dedicate her life to her family. In 1995 Craig received the Distinguished Alumni Award. Craig, Jacqueline and their four daughters all reside in Texas.

Dr. David W. and Darlene C. Dahle Award
Awarded to an Alberta resident with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any undergraduate degree program with a major in Humanities and/ or a minor in Classical Studies at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on academic standing and financial need.

Dr. David W. Dahle, an alum of Camrose Lutheran College, is currently a professor of Classical Studies at Augustana His wife, Darlene, also an alum of Camrose Lutheran College, is a teacher at Jack Stuart School in Camrose. David and Darlene are active in their church and enjoyed seeing their children grow and attend Augustana, just as they did.

Dr. Gerhard and Mrs. Hilda Driedger Scholarship
Awarded to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty with a major or minor in History, or a minor in German with particular interest in European history at the senior level. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement.

Dr. Gerhard Driedger and his family emigrated to Canada in 1951. Gerhard served as a medical missionary in Papua-New Guinea and in 1969-70 was Chief of the Lutheran Hospital in Yagaum, Papua-New Guinea. Gerhard retired from practicing orthopaedic surgery, having been elected a fellow of both the Royal College of Surgeons and American College of Surgeons. Gerhard and Hilda are active members of the Church Council of Christ Trinity Lutheran Church and currently reside in Lethbridge.

Dr. Velma Gooch Memorial Award in English Literature
Awarded to student with satisfactory academic standing entering the third year of an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty with a major or minor in English. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing.

Dr. Velma Gooch (1914 - 1986) graduated from Camrose Lutheran in 1932 and taught for a number years before marrying her husband in 1942. After his death in 1945 she again began teaching, this time at Camrose Lutheran, later obtaining her Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta. Velma was known and loved for many qualities, and will be remembered most for her courage and single minded devotion to raising her family as a single parent, as well as serving God and society through her academic career as a professor of English.

Dr. W.G. (Gibber) and Dorothy Gibson Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty with a major or minor in Physical Education. Recipient will be selected on the basis of demonstrated leadership in outdoor pursuits and academic standing.

W.G. (Garry) Gibson, fondly known as "Gibber", and his wife Dorothy have, as a team, served Augustana for over 30 years. It was on the basis of his research for his PhD in 1976 that Garry designed the Outdoor Leadership Program at Augustana. Their motto has been, through outdoor leadership and athletics, to lead young people to a greater awareness of the natural world, themselves, others and ultimately, their God. They continue to be involved with Augustana, church, and sports.

E. F. Marken Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a continuing student with superior academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty with a major in Natural or Mathematical Sciences and/ or active in Choral Music activities on Augustana campus. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement.

Ed & Alice Peterson Entrance Scholarship
Awarded to a student with superior academic achievement entering an undergraduate degree at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on admission average. Receipt of funding for the second, third, and fourth years is contingent upon achieving a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a full normal course load at Augustana Faculty each year.

Elizabeth "Libby" Brownell Leadership Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of demonstrated leadership and service in student and/or community initiatives and academic standing.

Elizabeth (Libby) Brownell enrolled in nursing at Kingston General Hospital in Ottawa and graduated in 1963, working first as an operating room nurse and then in public health. She married Keith Brownell and when their first child was born in 1966, gave up her nursing career and devoted her very considerable energy and talents over the years to raising five children. Two of these children are graduates of Augustana.

Erik Mygind Memorial Music Scholarship
Awarded to students with superior academic achievement entering the second, third or fourth year of the Augustana Faculty Bachelor of Music degree program,. Recipients will be selected on the basis of academic and demonstrated musicality and proficiency on their major instrument of study.

Ernest Nelson and Ethel Rose Norris Memorial Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in second or third year of an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty with a major or minor in History or Political Studies . Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing and financial need.

Ernest Nelson (1889 - 1973) and Ethel Rose Norris held Camrose Lutheran College (CLC) in very high regard. It was a source of disappointment that they could not afford to send their three children to CLC as education was important to him, but Ernest ensured the family enjoyed a well-stocked bookcase. Ernest was very musical and had a superb knowledge of world affairs. He was involved in politics and admired Dr. Chester Ronning, whom he helped in any way he could. The scholarship was started by their daughter, Muriel, in 1985.

Ernie Felzien Award
Awarded to an Alberta resident with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty with a major in Mathematics and Physics or a minor in Mathematics. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing and financial need.

Ernie Felzien attended Camrose Lutheran College and subsequently enjoyed a 32 year career in the oil and gas industry before retiring in 1987. He led in the restoration of Pleasington Free Lutheran Church in Forestburg and serves on the Council of Hope Lutheran Church in Forestburg. Ernie received the Augustana Distinguished Alumni Award in 1999.

Evraz Inc. NA Camrose Works Employees Award
Awarded to an Evraz Inc. NA Camrose Works employee descendant with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing. If there are no eligible Evraz Inc. NA Camrose Works employee descendants who have not previously received this award, it may be awarded to a resident of the County of Camrose. Students are eligible to receive this award once.

Evraz Inc. NA Camrose Works Supervisors Grain Crop Scholarship
Awarded to a resident of the City or County of Camrose with superior academic achievement enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Selection will be made on the basis of academic achievement. Preference will be given to a student involved in school activities.

Felix Wiese Memorial Award
Awarded to University of Alberta student(s) registered in the Canadian Summer School in Germany (CSSG) study abroad program in Kassel, Germany. The award will only be tenable for participation in the CSSG program as long as this program is offered. Should the program cease to be offered, preference for the use of these funds would be directed to University of Alberta students enrolled in University of Alberta programs or initiatives where the student experience occurs in Germany. Selection based on academic standing and financial need.

Fred & Jean Daley Augustana Bursary
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the second, third, or fourth year of an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipients will be selected on the basis of demonstrated financial need.

Georg and Lily Moi Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty with a major in Modern Languages. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement and demonstrated financial need.

Glynne Jones Memorial Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in second, third, or fourth year of an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of demonstrated leadership, participation in student activities, academic standing, and financial need. Preference will be given to a student with a major or minor in Environmental Studies.

Glynne (Glen) Jones (1919 - 1987) was a caring man with a love of many things, including horses, the outdoors, the Rocky Mountains, and especially children. His pride and joy were his two grandsons, Jon and Drew, who both attended Augustana. Glen had serious concerns about the environment and the dangers posed by chemicals, therefore, whenever possible this award will go to a student in environmental studies. The award was established in 1995 by his family.

Gunvor and Erik Mygind Entrance Citation Scholarship
Awarded to a student entering an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty based on superior academic achievement (minimum award average of 95% or equivalent) in grades 10, 11, and 12. Receipt of funding for the second, third, and fourth years is contingent upon achieving a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a full normal course load of which at least 9 credits per term must be taken at Augustana Faculty.

Hanneman Augustana Bursary
Awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree program in Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be a student attending classes on the Augustana Campus and will be selected on the basis of demonstrated financial need.

Harry and Betty Gaede Music Award
Awarded to an Alberta resident with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty with a major or minor in Music. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing and financial need. Preference will be given to a student from the Camrose area.

Harry Gaede is a long time resident of Camrose, having practiced law here for many years. He is also long time supporter of Augustana and a part-time, sometime Classics student. Betty Gaede was fully involved in the Augustana community, mostly in the area of music, and taught private piano lessons and was very active in the Camrose Music Festival before her death from cancer in 2002. Harry and Betty established this annually endowed award because of their strong belief that education is important, and that education in the arts is critical to a fully developed human being.

Henry James and Muriel Rieger Memorial Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty and participating in the Cuba Study Abroad Program. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing and financial need.

Henry James Rieger (1918 - 1998) enlisted in the Canadian Army as a young man, and after being discharged in 1945, he obtained a homestead in the Peace River country. After many years of farming, Henry and his wife Muriel retired to Camrose, and during this time they both came to admire the programs and activities of Augustana University College. This award was established in 1999 in support of Augustana's international programs.

Hume Memorial Award
Awarded to student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in second year of an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing.

Robert and Anne Hume married in 1931 and thus began a great partnership of service to the community of Camrose. Robert served as Customs Officer, Town Councillor, Magistrate and finally Mayor for the City of Camrose until his retirement in 1963. He also served for 40 years as a member of the library board. Anne accompanied her husband in many of his social duties as Mayor of Camrose and both were devoted members of the United Church.

Inanda Hoyme Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty with a major or minor in Biology. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement. Preference will be given to a fourth year student.

Inanda Hoyme (1899 - 1980) completed Grades 11 and 12 at Camrose Lutheran and then went on to spend most of her teaching career at Camrose Lutheran. A highly respected and dedicated teacher, she was warmly loved both for her integrity as a teacher and for the personal attachment and concern she had for her students. After her retirement she remained active in her community and church, and in 1972 she was made Professor Emeritus. In 1977, Hoyme Hall residence was named in her honour. This scholarship was established in 1981 by her family.

J.M. (Jake) Jacobsen Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in first or second year of an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement and financial need.

Jacob "Jake" Martin Jacobsen (1918 - 1995) grew up on the family farm near Daysland and attended Camrose Lutheran College prior to receiving his commission in the R.C.A.F. in 1942. Jake loved the outdoors and as a young man skied and played hockey. In his retirement, he gardened, enjoyed attending hockey games, watching baseball and reading about nature, particularly birds. This scholarship was established in 1995 by his wife Joyce.

Jacquie and Morris Jevne Memorial Award

Preference will be given to a student from rural Canada.

Janet Ingibergsson Memorial Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in third or fourth year of an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty with a major or minor in a Social Sciences program. Preference will be given to a student with a vocational interest in Social Work. Recipient will be selected on the basis of overall contributions to Augustana Faculty, academic standing and financial need.

Janet Ingibergsson (1935 - 1989) left a legacy of love, caring, and reaching out to best meet the needs of the ill, the aged and the infirm. Janet and her family moved to Bawlf in 1971 and at the time of her death, her husband was the Librarian at Camrose Lutheran University College. Janet's example of catching the beauty of the moment while enthusiastically moving forward to achieve worthwhile goals will always be a positive influence in the lives that she touched.

Jeanne Hunter Bursary
Awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in either a BSc in Environmental Science or a BA in Environmental Studies degree program at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on demonstrated financial need with preference given to students who are single parents or the child of a single parent family.

Jevne/Eng Award in Social Sciences and Humanities
Awarded to a returning student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the second year of a Social Sciences or Humanities Program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing and demonstrated leadership. Preference will be given to a student from rural Alberta. Receipt of funding for the third and fourth years is contingent upon maintaining satisfactory academic standing in a Social Sciences or Humanities program at Augustana Faculty each year.

Joe and Barb Stolee Family Award
Awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of an undergraduate degree at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on academic standing, indicated financial need and demonstrated leadership, community engagement, volunteerism and/or involvement in extracurricular activities. Preference will be given to students with demonstrated participation in the chaplaincy program.

John and Juri Spokkeli Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a student with superior academic standing enrolled in the second, third, or fourth year of study in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on academic standing, demonstrated leadership, and involvement in extracurricular activities.

John and Valborg Olson Memorial Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any undergraduate degree program with a major in Philosophy and Religion or a minor in Religion at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on academic standing.

John (1872 - 1951) and Valborg (1878 - 1944) Olson, both of Norway, married in 1904 and began farming their new homestead four miles north of Camrose. In addition to farming, John was an active organizer in the community and Valborg used the medical training she learned in Des Moines to practice midwifery. They were active members of their church, with Valborg teaching Sunday school, bible classes, and instructing confirmation. Six of the Olson children, 21 of their grandchildren and six of their great grandchildren have attended Camrose Lutheran College. This scholarship was established in 1975 by their family.

Jonathan Mohr Service Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the second or subsequent years of a Bachelor of Science at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on academic standing and demonstrated leadership, community engagement, volunteerism and/or involvement in extracurricular activities at the Augustana Campus and within Augustana’s broader community.

K.E.G. Patrige Memorial Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana faculty who contributes to print/electronic student and/or campus publications by providing writing, photography and/or production assistance. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing and financial need.

Kenneth Patrige (1908 - 1976) had a long and distinguished journalism career. Obtaining his Photography A and Instructor A diplomas from the Royal Canadian Air Force, in 1947 he went on to become managing editor and co-owner of the Camrose Canadian until his retirement in 1976. He was known in the community for his coverage of college activities in the Camrose Canadian. Kenneth's daughter Barbara attended Camrose Lutheran College for one year and as a worthy memorial to her father, started this award in 1976.

K. Glen Johnson Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of demonstrated leadership and academic standing.

"Faith and life, creative tension, servant-leader." These themes, so much a part of Augustana, are part of the living legacy of the Rev. Dr. K. Glen Johnson, president of Augustana from 1968 to 1994. During his tenure, Rev. Johnson saw Augustana become the first fully accredited private degree granting undergraduate university in Alberta. Dr. Johnson is married to Jo Ann Marie Solem and they have five children.

Kaul Family Indigenous Student Bursary
Awarded to students who are First Nation, Inuit, or Métis people of Canada in accordance with the Constitution Act, 1982, Part 2, Section 35(2) with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of an undergraduate degree. Selection based on demonstrated financial need. Preference given to students in the Faculty of Engineering or at Augustana Faculty.

Keith Paton Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a student with superior academic achievement involved in athletics and enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty with a major or minor in Physical Education. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement. Preference will be given to a student from the Camrose area.

Keith Paton (1949 - 1973) was a patient man willing to lend a hand whenever he could. He was born in Camrose and was a member of the Camrose Barbershop Singers. He was also a star football player in high school. This memorial scholarship was established in 1974 as a tribute to Keith's memory so that the efforts of his past could assist those in the future.

Kevin Bruce Hall Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a returning student with superior academic achievement entering second, third, or fourth year of an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement and financial need.

Kevin Hall (1967 - 1988) lived most of his life in Camrose and completed two years at Camrose Lutheran College University. He then enrolled at the University of Alberta with a major in Engineering, but at that time became ill and through sheer determination completed his first year with honours. Kevin possessed a rare personality - his gentle manner and quick wit were his trademarks. His scholarship was established in 1988.

Laura M. Anderson Augustana Bursary
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing entering in the second, third, or fourth year of an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of demonstrated financial need.

Lefsrud Family Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic achievement enrolled in any year of a Bachelor of Management at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on academic standing.

Libby Ritter Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to an Alberta resident with superior academic achievement enrolled in any Humanities or Social Sciences undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on academic achievement and financial need with a preference given to a student with a major in Philosophy and Religion or a minor in Religion.

Elizabeth Ann (Libby) Ritter (1958 - 1984) received her RN from the Royal Alexandra Hospital in 1979 and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Alberta in 1983. She worked as a nurse for a number of years before suddenly passing away in 1984. Her father, Rev. Walter Ritter, was a professor of Religious Studies at Augustana for over 20 years. The scholarship was established in 1999.

Lloyd B. and Catherine R. McCoomb Award
Awarded to a continuing student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement with preference given to a student from rural Alberta.

Lorene (Fabrizius) Pinno Memorial Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing entering any year of an undergraduate degree at Augustana Faculty who has a disability. Selection based on academic standing.

Luther and Florence Olson Memorial Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of overall contributions to Augustana Faculty and academic standing.

Luther Olson (1915 - 1978) was born in Camrose and graduated from Camrose Lutheran College (CLC) in 1932. Luther was a teacher and principal in several central Alberta public schools before serving as a member of the CLC faculty for many years. He made great contributions to the furtherance of college programs and served on several committees for the betterment of the facility. In recognition of his outstanding achievement, Luther Olson was chosen to receive the Camrose Lutheran Distinguished Alumni Award in 1968.

Margaret L. Rowe Memorial Ski Award
Awarded to a Vikings ski team member with satisfactory academic standing who is enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing.

Margaret Lucy Rowe (1924 - 1987) was very successful in her career, becoming the first woman in Canada to become an officer-in-charge of a branch of the Bank of Montreal, and a few years later, the first woman to become a bank manager. This award was established in 1987 by Margaret's sister, Dorothy Gibson and her husband Garry to remember "…a beautiful lady who played a great part in the lives of many. Despite a lifetime of deafness, she attained great heights in her banking career, and humbly remembered those who helped her along the way."

Marie Myrehaug Memorial Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Selection will be made on the basis of demonstrated leadership and academic standing with preference given to a student with a major in Philosophy and Religion or a minor in Religion.

Marie (Sather) Myrehaug (1912 - 2000) graduated from Camrose Lutheran College in 1935. In 1968, Marie accepted the position as Dean of Women at Camrose Lutheran College, where she worked until her retirement in 1990. Family, gardening, painting, and traveling were among her greatest joys- an eternal optimist in the truest sense.

Marion Murray Walters Memorial Award
Awarded to an Alberta resident with satisfactory academic standing entering the second, third, or fourth year of an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty majoring in Studio Art. Recipient will be selected on the basis demonstrated involvement in organized student activities and excellence in Studio Art.

Mark Hanson Memorial Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of overall contributions to Augustana Faculty, academic standing, and financial need.

Mark Hanson (1965 - 1990) attended Camrose Lutheran College and graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts (General) Degree with a major in Psychology. Mark was a member of the Lutheran church throughout his lifetime and received "Most Valuable Player" awards in football and hockey. Mark will always be remembered for his easygoing personality and warm nature.

Mary, Jo Ann and James Neff Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty with a major or minor in Music, or a minor in Religion. Recipient will be selected on the basis of overall contributions to Augustana Faculty, academic achievement, and financial need.

Mary Neff (1960 - 1975) passed away at the young age of 15. She loved cooking, music, singing, playing piano, art and learning. Mary sang in several church choirs and often played recorder duets with her brothers and sister. Mary's parents were James Neff, (Professor Emeritus of Augustana University College) and Jo Ann Neff.

Jo Ann Neff (1936 - 2019) attended Concordia College (Moorhead, MN), Camrose Lutheran College and Pacific Lutheran University (Tacoma, WA) where she received her B.Ed. with a specialization in music. In addition to being a gifted alto, she played piano and taught elementary school, specializing in music, at Chester Ronning Elementary School from 1977-1993. She was a strong supporter of Augustana and its music program from the time she and James moved to Camrose in 1959.

James Neff (1934 - 2022) received his B.Mus. from Concordia College (Moorhead, MN), his M.A. from the University of Denver, and did doctoral studies at the University of Iowa. He began his career at Camrose Lutheran College (CLC) in 1959 teaching music history, theory, composition and conducting. He was an active composer of instrumental music and secular choral works with a primary focus on sacred choral works, 17 of which were published. A true visionary, he established Augustana’s formalized program of undergraduate music study and established the Augustana community conservatory of music, setting both post-secondary and conservatory programs on a firm foundation which continues to this day. During his tenure at Augustana, he served in many roles, highlighted by 15 years as Director of the CLC Choir and later, nine years as Academic Dean. After 33 years of dedicated service, he retired in 1993 and was conferred the title Professor Emeritus.

Moncrieff Ford Sr. & Moncrieff Ford Jr. Memorial Award for Dedicated Service to Athletics
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of an undergraduate degree at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on academic standing and demonstrated contributions to campus athletics through service to others as a teacher, coach, trainer or mentor.

Muriel M. Bevington Memorial Award
Awarded to a Canadian citizen or permanent resident with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in second year of an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty who intends to become a teacher. Recipient will be selected on the basis of demonstrated leadership and academic standing.

Muriel M. Bevington (1910 - 2000) was a student of Camrose Lutheran College before earning her teaching certificate from Camrose Normal School. She taught in various schools in Alberta until she married Wilbert in 1928. Education was very important to Muriel and it gave her great satisfaction to establish two scholarships - one scholarship in her husband's name (Wilbert G. Bevington Memorial Award) and one scholarship in her own name.

Olga Melsness Loberg Memorial Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty with a major or minor in Music. Preference will be given to students with a major in Piano. Recipients will be selected on the basis of academic standing and financial need. Preference will be given to Alberta residents.

Olga Melsness Loberg (1907 - 1967) arrived in Alberta in 1912 and was the musical member of her family, playing the piano and organ and leading the family evening sing songs. In 1930 she married Paul Loberg and enjoyed life as a farm wife and devoted mother of six children, two of whom attended Camrose Lutheran College. The award was established in 1995 by Paul and Aimee (Olga's daughter) Gibson.

Paul Sills Memorial Entrance Award in Drama
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing entering the first year of a Bachelor of Arts degree program at Augustana Faculty majoring in Drama. Selection based on Grade 11 and/or Grade 12 final marks. Renewal for second, third, and fourth year is based on maintaining satisfactory academic standing on a full normal course load and continuing studies at Augustana Faculty.

Pastor Karel Lunde Memorial Award
Awarded to a returning full time student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of demonstrated leadership and perseverance in athletics.

Pepsi-Cola Award
Awarded to a returning student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in second, third, or fourth year of an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of demonstrated leadership and academic standing.

Phil and Doris Anderson Alumni Award
Awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the second or subsequent year of an undergraduate degree at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on academic standing and demonstrated leadership, community engagement, volunteerism and/or involvement in extracurricular activities at Augustana Campus.

Pioneer Teacher Scholarship
Awarded to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in the combined education degree program at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on academic standing, demonstrated leadership and involvement in extracurricular activities.

Prof. Bayard Reesor Political Studies Entrance Scholarship
Awarded to a student with superior academic achievement entering the first year of undergraduate study in Political Studies at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on Grade 11 and/or Grade 12 final marks. Renewal for each year based on maintaining satisfactory academic standing in the Political Sciences program.

Professor Murray Lauber Scholarship
Awarded to a student with superior academic achievement entering the first year of a Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty majoring in Mathematics and Physics. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement.

Ptarmigan Foundation Indigenous Award
Awarded to a student who is a First Nation, Inuit, or Métis person of Canada in accordance with the Constitution Act, 1982, Part 2, Section 35(2) with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of an undergraduate degree at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on academic standing and indicated financial need. Preference given to a student enrolled in the ACCESS program. Renewal of funding for subsequent years is contingent upon achieving satisfactory academic standing on full-time enrollment over the most recent September to April period in the current faculty and maintaining indicated financial need. Renewals will normally be provided for the standard duration of the student's program.

Randy Runestad Memorial Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing and financial need.

Rathnavalu Family Award in Student Leadership
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing entering the third or fourth year of an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on leadership qualities embracing cultural diversity and demonstrated involvement in extracurricular and community activities, particularly those promoting justice and human rights, and academic standing.

Reg and Marjorie Harris Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement and financial need.

William Reginald (Reg) (1900 - 1982) and Marjorie (1912 - 1985) Harris were keenly interested in education and sought to provide this for their children by sending all three to Camrose Lutheran for high school. Their daughters, Marjorie, Shirley, and Marilyn have maintained an interest in their alma mater and have established this scholarship to honor their parents and to directly assist students.

Reverend Palmer Olson and Reverend Ivar Saugen Chaplaincy Award
Awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of an undergraduate degree at Augustana Faculty.  Selection based on academic standing and demonstrated leadership and commitment to Augustana Chaplaincy.  Preference given to students who are from a rural community, who are on a study permit, or who are First Nation, Inuit, or Metis people of Canada in accordance with the Constitution Act, 1982, Part 2, Section 35(2).

Reynolds Carruthers Erwin Scholarship
Awarded to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement.

Millicent Elaine (Reynolds) Carruthers Erwin cherished the church, her home, her yard and garden, which she tended with tender loving care. A special achievement of Elaine's and a testament to her intelligence, joy of learning, courage and resolve was the attainment of a Bachelor of Arts degree from Camrose Lutheran College at the age of 76.

Richard Peter Walley Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in second or third year of an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty with a major or minor in a Humanities program. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement and financial need. Preference will be given to a Camrose County resident.

Richard Peter Walley (1924 - 1997) was born on the family farm named Cotton Abbots, near Waverton, Cheshire, England and spent his entire life as a farmer until his retirement in 1987. Peter maintained a close relationship with his siblings, in particular his sister Marion Bennett. Several members of the Walley-Bennett family benefited from courses taken at Augustana and in 1999, Marion established this scholarship in his memory to commemorate the close lifetime friendship between herself and Peter, and in recognition of the role which Augustana played in the family.

Ricoh Canada Inc. Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any undergraduate degree program with a major or minor in Economics at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on demonstrated vocational interest in Economics, demonstrated leadership and academic standing.

Robert Sherwood Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a student from rural Alberta with superior academic achievement enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement and financial need.

Robert (Bob) Sherwood (1969 - 1993) was a young man who enjoyed working with his father at the family ranch, participating in the 4-H Beef Club, and playing sports, especially hockey and baseball. Bob completed his high school education at Camrose Lutheran College, subsequently earning his Bachelor of Arts degree from Augustana in 1992. Bob made a significant impact on the lives of his friends and this scholarship was established in his memory by his good friend Jim Chu.

Royal Canadian Legion, Camrose Branch #57 Award
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing and financial need. Preference will be given to a descendant of an ex-service person.

Ruth & Jim Herman Augustana Bursary
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the second, third, or fourth year of the Music program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of demonstrated financial need.

Scandinavian Studies Award
Awarded to a returning student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with a major in Modern Languages - Scandinavian Studies stream or a minor in Scandinavian Studies at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on academic standing and accepted enrollment in an approved study abroad program.

Sons of Norway (Canada) Award in Scandinavian Studies
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing and financial need. Preference will be given to a student with a minor in Scandinavian Studies.

Terrin Bourque Memorial Augustana Bursary in English
Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty with a major or minor in English. Selection based on demonstrated financial need.

The Right Honourable Don Mazankowski Entrance Citation Scholarship
Awarded to a student entering an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty based on superior academic achievement (minimum award average of 95% or equivalent) in grades 10, 11, and 12. Selection based on academic standing. Receipt of funding for the second, third, and fourth years is contingent upon achieving a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a full normal course load of which at least 9 credits per term must be taken at Augustana Faculty. Preference will be given to students from rural Alberta.

The Right Honourable Don Mazankowski Scholarship
Awarded to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of demonstrated leadership, community involvement, and academic achievement.

The Right Honourable Don Mazankowski Undergraduate Student Research Scholarship
Awarded to a continuing undergraduate student currently enrolled in Augustana Faculty with a minimum GPA of 3.5. This award is intended to cultivate and support research partnerships between undergraduate students and faculty members. Graduating students or those who are planning to transfer to another Faculty are ineligible. This funding will provide for 15 weeks of research-based activity from May to August. Recipients will be chosen on the basis of academic standing and the competitive merits of their proposed research project as adjudicated by the Research Committee. Should the Committee judge that two or more leading applications are comparable in merit, preference will be given to recipients of The Right Honourable Don Mazankowski Entrance Citation Scholarship.

Val Wolski Memorial Award
Awarded to a continuing student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty with a major in Psychology. Selection based on academic standing.

Valerie Kovacs Wolski (1969-2011) attended Augustana from 1988 to 1993, graduating with a BA in psychology with distinction. Afterwards, Val worked in a variety of helping professions, including work at a women’s shelter, on a crisis line, and, finally, for Canadian Mental Health Association in Camrose. She touched hundreds of lives–particularly women’s–throughout her career, which ended in 2011 when she was killed at work. Val was a hard-working conscientious professional who cared for everyone she met and possessed unshakable optimism. She believed that through her work and her life, she could make the world a better place for others, and she did. Val’s Augustana classmates establish this award to honour Val’s legacy and to enable others to carry on her work.

Verda and J. D. McNeill Scholarship
Awarded to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement.

J.D. (Duncan) McNeill began his 47 year career in the oil patch as a salesman, going on to form his own company, Stream-Flo Industries, in 1962. Verda Aasen graduated from Camrose Lutheran in 1949 before going on to receive her registered nursing diploma from Misericordia Hospital. Duncan and Verda married in 1956 and have been blessed with four sons. Duncan credits Verda as the woman beside him, not behind him, during a successful career in the oil patch spanning 47 years.

Veronica Probst Award in Music
Awarded to students who are residents of Alberta with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the second or subsequent years of a Bachelor of Music at Augustana Faculty. Selection based on academic standing and demonstrated leadership, community engagement, volunteerism and/or involvement in extracurricular activities. Preference is given to students who are specializing in voice.

Viking Cup Hockey Award
Awarded to student(s) with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of study for any undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient(s) must be member(s) of the Men's Vikings Hockey team. Selection based on academic standing and excellence in hockey.

Walter A. and Margaret Hiller Scholarship
Awarded to an Alberta resident with superior academic achievement enrolled in the second, third or fourth year of the Bachelor of Management in Business Economics program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement.

Walter and Margaret Hiller believed that encouraging young people to obtain an education was a priority. Their decision to create an endowed scholarship was one way they could repeatedly help young people achieve this goal.

Wesley James Engen Memorial Award
Awarded to a Vikings Hockey team member with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the first year of an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing.

Wesley Engen (1958 - 1991) attended Camrose Lutheran College before transferring to the University of Alberta and graduating in 1980 with a degree in Agriculture. Wes loved all sports and participated in hockey while Manager of Regional Agriculture Banking Services with the Royal Bank.

Wilbert G. Bevington Memorial Award
Awarded to a Canadian citizen or permanent resident with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the second year of an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty who intends to become a teacher. Recipient will be selected on the basis of demonstrated leadership and academic standing.

Wilbert Bevington (1910 - 1991) was a dedicated man who worked hard to obtain his education and become a teacher and principal. Camrose Lutheran College played a vital role in Wilbert's life, as it enabled him to receive an education that otherwise did not seem possible. It was with this in mind that the family established The Wilbert G. Bevington Memorial Award.

Zetsen Master Builders Inc. Award
Awarded to a Camrose resident with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing. Preference will be given to a student with a parent employed in the construction industry in Camrose.
