Dental Hygiene Alberta Institution Course Lists
These course lists are intended to assist prospective applicants in planning their coursework for the Dental Hygiene program. These lists will be reviewed and updated as new information becomes available. Courses listed as acceptable during this application cycle may not be acceptable in future application cycles. There may be courses listed that are no longer offered. We are not able to provide a comprehensive list of all transferable courses.
Upon submission of an application and all required documents, the Registrar’s Office will evaluate your coursework to determine if you have met the requirements. Coursework cannot be assessed in advance or via email.
A minimum grade of C- is required in any transfer course used to meet a course requirement.
My institution is not listed
Due to the large number of Alberta post-secondary institutions, it is not possible to provide equivalent course lists for each institution. Additional institutions may be added in the future. Please use the Transfer Alberta tool to determine transfer credit information based on agreements in place between Alberta post-secondary institutions.
My course is not listed
The absence of a course from these lists does not necessarily imply that it is deficient or inadequate. If your university offers a course, or course combination, covering the required subject areas in detail, the Registrar's Office will evaluate your transcripts to determine if you have met the requirement. A detailed course syllabus that includes course content, hours of instruction, textbook, and grading information for each course will be required.
Course reviews will be completed upon receipt of an application for admission and all required documents. It is not possible for us to provide unofficial course evaluations.
