Research study participants needed
Does your child have an overbite? Are they between 10 and 15-years-old?
The University of Alberta's Orthodontic Clinic is looking for individuals with moderate to severe overbite to participate in a research study. The study is looking for school-aged children - boys between 11 to 15 years-old and girls between 10 to 13 years-old.
Ninety participants are needed and must be willing to commit for at least two years - the typical amount of time braces are required to be kept on. All orthodontic treatments are done by a trained clinician.
Patient experience, gum health and jaw joints will all be taken into consideration when undergoing treatment. By participating in the study, patients will be helping move research forward for the future generations.
