The School of Dentistry, and its three programs-Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Dental Hygiene and Orthodontics, recently went through its accreditation review.
Every seven years, the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada (CDAC) reviews our program to ensure it meets established criteria and educational standards.
The outcome of all three reviews was an overwhelming success! In fact, the DDS program had zero recommendations to report.
"What this means is we are on the right track with what we are doing and from here, we can only get better," commented Paul Major, chair of the School of Dentistry. "We are committed to making our programs the best they can be so that all students who attend the school receive a high-quality education."
