Kim Falconer, MBA, CFRE, MFA-P™
Kim is a passionate fundraising professional who has extensive experience in major gift fundraising, team leadership and strategic donor relations. She has over 15 years of fundraising experience working with the Canadian Red Cross, the University Hospital Foundation, the Alberta Cancer Foundation, MacEwan University and the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry. Prior to this, she worked with several international hospitality companies including Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, the Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland and Sheen Falls Lodge in Ireland.
Kim is an alumna of the University of Alberta where she completed a Bachelor of Physical Education degree with a specialization in exercise physiology and sport performance. Additionally, she obtained her MBA at Edinburgh Business School, is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), and holds a Master Financial Advisor – Philanthropy designation (MFA-P™).
Kim enjoys time outdoors, travelling and visiting great bookshops and cafés. She loves to learn from the inspiring stories of faculty, alumni, students and donors who are working to create healthy outcomes in their communities.
Kim is a settler on Turtle Island living on Treaty 6 territory and was raised in Yellowknife, in Chief Drygeese territory on the traditional land of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation. She is a dual citizen of Canada and the UK.
