2024 Killam Annual Professorship

Congratulations to Dr. Aminu Bello on receiving the 2024 Killam Annual Professorship from the Killam Trusts.

Dr. Bello is a Professor in the Division of Nephrology and a Consultant Nephrologist at the University of Alberta Hospital. He is a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences (FCAHS) and Associate Editor of the Canadian Journal of Kidney Health and Disease.

The Killam Annual Professorships are granted to faculty members based on the quality of their scholarly activities such as teaching, research, publications, creative activities, presented papers, and supervision of graduate students. A subcommittee of the Killam Trusts Committee appointed by the Vice-President (Research) selects Killam Annual Professors.
