Why Graduate Studies?
Choose your path. Choose your area of research.
Flexible study. Flexible course requirements (three courses for M.Sc. and four courses for PhD) allow you to actually focus on your research.
Make an impact. Our students publish original research findings in high-impact journals and speak at scientific and clinical forums around the world.
Extend yourself. Our program is ideal for residents wanting to augment their medical training, however we have students from a variety of educational backgrounds.
Prepare for a life in academia. Many former students are faculty members here and abroad, training the next generation of basic and translational scientists.
Live and work on the edge. Our graduates work as postdoctoral research fellows in research laboratories around the world, engaging in cutting-edge research.
Not an MD? That's OK, too
While Graduate Studies is a great fit for medical residents who want to enhance their research skills, you don't have to be an MD.
Our M.Sc. and PhD students have undergraduate degrees in a variety of areas - biochemistry, biology, science, public health, nursing, pharmacy, rehabilitation medicine and epidemiology, to name a few.
