What sparked you to study in your chosen field?

An interest in microbiology and its interplay with immunology and infections.

What’s next for you?

I'm currently doing my subspecialty residency in Infectious Diseases at the University of Calgary. I hope to be a practicing Infectious Diseases physician soon.

Who inspires you? 

I am inspired by my supervisor, Dr Carlos Cervera, and his passion for research and challenging dogma. 

What was your favorite distraction (hobby)?

Walking my adorable pet corgi, Taika.
