What sparked you to study in your chosen field?
I previously worked as a Research Assistant studying mitochondria. I enjoyed this work and seeing mitochondria work in real time.
I chose to continue studying mitochondria, investigating the connection between mitochondria and longevity in seed beetles. This provided me with the opportunity to better understand why certain individuals live longer than others.
What valuable lesson have you learned during your academic journey?
To set boundaries so that I can succeed in my studies, but also have time to do other things I enjoy.
What is something your classmates do not know about you?
I coach artistic swimming.
What is one thing you cannot live without?
Delicious food.
