Dr. Ingrid Urberg teaches Norwegian language and Scandinavian literature and culture courses, and she is also a recipient of the Augustana Distinguished Teaching Award. A number of her courses are inter- and cross-disciplinary in nature, and Viking Age Mythology and Scandinavian Crime Fiction are among the courses she has recently developed. Dr. Urberg's research interests include personal narratives and polar literature, and her projects have brought her to northern Norway, Greenland and Svalbard.
