Terms Offered: Summer (May-Aug)
Duration: 4 - 12 weeks
Eligibility Requirements
- Students must be currently enrolled at the University of Alberta as full-time students
- Students must be returning to classes in the Fall term
- Undergraduates must have completed at least 2 years of a degree program by the time of the internship placement
- German language skills are not required, the working language will generally be English

Application Deadlines + Instructions
Deadlines: TBA, usually January for May start
Instructions: Posted when exact deadlines are announced
Your application should indicate the institute or chair you wish to carry out your research internship.
- Program dates within the May-August parameter are somewhat flexible and would be determined by the availability of academic supervisors. Please indicate the desired start date and intended internship duration in the letter of intent.
Fees & Costs
$250 nomination fee
€290 mandatory enrolment fee
TUD provides a monthly scholarship of €800 and a one-time payment of €600 as a travel subsidy.
Participants may apply for on-campus housing at TU Dresden and will usually be offered a room in the international guesthouse.
Students are encouraged to apply for funding even if they do not have a confirmed internship to avoid missing important deadlines.
