Co-op Program Harassment Policy and Procedures
All members of the University of Alberta community have the right to work and learn in an environment free of harassment and discrimination, regardless of work location.
If you experience harassment or discrimination during a co-op work term, we are here to support you.
Available resources include:
- The UAlberta Sexual Assault Centre: offers drop-in, telephone or email support for people who have experienced, or are currently experiencing, sexual assault, sexual harassment, stalking or relationship violence.
- The UAlberta Office of Safe Disclosure and Human Rights: provides a safe, neutral, and confidential space to disclose concerns about issues such as safety violations, ethical concerns, discrimination, or harassment.
- The Office of the Dean
- Your Co-op Advisor
- Your Workplace Supervisor or Human Resources (HR) Department
- The Alberta Human Rights Commission
