Whether you're curious about venturing into the dynamic world of entrepreneurship, developing a new prototype, or looking to scale an existing tech-based initiative — we've got suitable programs to support you through this journey. Immerse yourself in ENGG 260, an academic course that combines theories of innovation with practical product development and business planning, fostering an interdisciplinary learning environment. Alternatively, all Faculty of Engineering Co-op students have the option to take a step into real-world entrepreneurship with our Entrepreneurial Co-op Program, offering mentored, self-directed work terms that blend technology innovation with strategic business planning. The ICE Engineering Incubator also offers the entry-level Explorer & the more advanced Innovator Programs — programs that are open to all University of Alberta students, staff, researchers, and recent alumni at no cost.
