What We Offer
- In-person sessions with a tutor in the writing centre (30 minutes) by appointment
- Synchronous online consultations with a tutor (30 minutes) if you are a remote learner or are feeling ill
How to Use the Writing Centre
Send an email to augwrite@ualberta.ca requesting help with a writing assignment.
- Tell us what you would like help with (or simply send a request for help).
- You may attach a draft of your writing project or assignment in

- A tutor will contact you, offering either
- Follow the link and you will find the names of a number of tutors that have scheduled hours in the writing centre.
- Note: The tutors have different hours, so please click on each name to find a tutor who has a time slot available that agrees with your schedule.
- Book your appointment.
- At the scheduled time meet your tutor in the writing centre.

LOCATION OF THE WRITING CENTRE – L1-140 & L1-142
- In the Library, on the main floor, in two rooms (L1-140 and L1-142), which are on the right (as you enter), past the copy machines

feedback in the form of suggestions, comments and encouragement intended to get students to
develop their writing skills over the long term.
