Increase Connections to the Community

Within the strategic plan, three areas of focus stood out as priorities over the next five years.

As we concentrate on the commitment to increase connections to the community, we will:

WHAT:
Develop and enhance connections to our external communities

HOW:
We will build on the influence of the spectrum of ALES events;
We will increase the number and effectiveness of research communications to stakeholders and the general public;
We will increase the number and effectiveness of the number of events in which ALES participates; and
We will measure the effectiveness of our website and social media channels.

WHAT:
We will build on and enhance the faculty's reputation.

HOW:
We will develop/measure rankings and indexes of our programs relative to other programs;
We will increase the number of meaningful awards faculty members receive; and
We will increase the number of our people on influential boards and panels.
