Program Structure
The University of Alberta pediatric radiology residency is structured to allow the resident to customize their training to meet their own specific goals and objectives while at the same time ensuring that their training fulfills the requirements of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Training is divided into 13 four-week blocks, an example of which is detailed below. The training will follow CBD guidelines. Subsequent training allows residents the opportunity to develop their teaching skills with multiple learners. Our trainees transition to staff pediatric radiology competencies by the end of their training.
