Guodong Ju

Guodong has passed his doctoral defence with minor corrections, and is expected to receive his doctoral degree from the Department of Social Policy at London School of Economics in summer 2025. He also holds a master's degree in quantitative sociology at Nanjing University. He was selected for the PhD Enrichment Scheme at the Alan Turing Institute in 2023 and is the winner of the Nan Lin Graduate Paper Prize in 2023. His research interests cover sexual minorities, social organizations, virtual communities, and longitudinal public attitudes shifts. His research combines quantitative modelling, social network analysis, and computational social science methods. His research has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals in English and Chinese, including China Quarterly, Chinese Sociological Review, Journal of Social Computing, and Chinese Journal of Sociology.
