"Se kreyòl nou ye / We are all Creoles"
International Creole Day, Wednesday October 28, 2020

The second edition of the International Créole Day in Edmonton will take place on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 around the theme "language and identity".

This Day, both cultural and festive, is an opportunity for speakers and friends of Créole to celebrate the beauty and richness of this language. Thanks to the theme of this 2nd edition, Créole speakers of all ages are invited to remember both the importance of Créole in the transmission of linguistic heritage and the essential role it plays in their identity.

In 2019, the presentations took place at Campus Saint-Jean , but like most things this year, this mode of presentation is not possible this year. We decided to continue with our celebration but have our Virtual Discussion Group online.

We therefore invite you to join us for these virtual events and invite members of the community who may be interested. Details are below as well as in the attached poster.
