Recrutement for the 2024-25 School Year

We are growing! We have over 500 placements for the 2024-25 school year. 280 placements were made in the Fall 2024. We are now recruiting mentor teachers for Winter 2025. We anticipate needs in the following areas:

• 40 student teachers in Stage 1 (8 weeks)
• 105 student teachers in Stage 2 (8 weeks)
• 110 student teachers in Observation Practicums (6 mornings)
• 45% of our student teachers are enrolled in Secondary programs, meaning that we need more mentor teachers from Junior High and High School. 
• Our biggest needs are in the Edmonton and Calgary regions, however we are encouraging our student teachers to consider rural and out-of-province practicums.
