Professional and Career Development
At La Centrale, we work in collaboration with the U of A's Career Centre, to support our students' professional development and help them make the right career choices. To achieve this, La Centrale has developed 2 types of intervention: practical workshops and networking opportunities.
PRACTICAL WORKSHOPS
La Centrale offers practical workshops during the fall and winter semesters on job search, CV and cover letter writing, and preparing for job interviews. These workshops are offered by the Centrale Coordinator in collaboration with the U of A Career Centre.
NETWORKING
At La Centrale and in collaboration with the U of A Career Centre, we offer networking opportunities through various job fairs, a series of conferences and the job shadowing program.
JOB SHADOW WEEK
In partnership with the U of A Career Centre, Centrale offers CSJ students the opportunity to gain work experience in a field of their choice during Job Shadow Week in the fall and winter semesters.
