Artwork at Campus Saint-Jean
As a hub of community and cultural life, Campus Saint-Jean is home to a number of artworks that are not only an artistic expression but also a reflection of the diversity of the Campus.
Two works by Saskatchewan Métis artist Leah Dorion, acquired by Campus Saint-Jean, are displayed on the walls of Bibliothèque Saint-Jean.
These paintings were the subject of a study of the symbolic art and epistemology of the Métis woman by Campus students, who selected and studied them. These students were asked to de-center themselves to critically reflect on engagement and theory in relation to practice.
