University of Alberta International
University of Alberta International is the university unit tasked with supporting and building international opportunities across the university. The unit also provides resources to international students studying at UAlberta and to current students who want to go abroad.
Study Abroad
The School of Library and Information Studies (SLIS) supports opportunities offered to students who want to incorporate international experiences grounded in an ethic of global citizenship into their program. SLIS students may choose to complete coursework, practicums, or other learning opportunities at international post-secondary institutions or LIS organizations as part of their MLIS program. Students are encouraged to consult their faculty advisers with respect to program planning.
Visiting Scholars
With a vibrant and diverse staff, faculty, and student body, the School welcomes advances by international visiting scholars at the University of Alberta as resources, process and timing permit.
