Lab2Market Alberta is a regional hub for the national Lab2Market network, led by the University of Alberta with the University of Calgary, The University of Lethbridge and Edmonton Unlimited as delivery partners.
Lab2Market is a suite of programs -- Discover, Validate, Launch and Build - to guide researchers through every step of their entrepreneurial journey.
Validate is an industry agnostic cohort for Alberta students (Master, Ph.D.) and postdocs to critically test and evaluate research ideas in the entrepreneurial landscape, with $10,000 in funding, exercises, workshops, and mentorship from industry experts. Applicants must be eligible for Mitacs funding.
