Eligibility
Awarded to a student who is registered full or part time in a graduate degree program in the School of Public Health, and who are a First Nation, Inuit or Métis person of Canada in accordance with the Constitution Act, 1982, Part 2, Section 35(2). Preference will be given to residents of the Canadian Northwest Territories, Labrador or the Provincial North, as identified by Atlas of Canada Thematic Map of the North. Recipients will be selected based on demonstrated leadership, community involvement and academic standing.
Application
Eligible applicants must provide:
- A completed a Scholarship and Award Application Form, including the general appraisal
- A current curriculum vitae
- A current, unofficial University of Alberta transcript
Eligible students should submit the form and CV as one Word format document to sph.programs@ualberta.ca by 12:00 noon on Monday, May 27, 2019.
NOTE: Newly admitted students for Fall 2019 are required to submit copies of all of their transcripts.
