Dawn Bucharski Graduate Award in Health Promotion
Funded by friends and staff of the Centre for Health Promotion Studies, and family, friends and colleagues of Dawn Bucharski. This is the first scholarship in health promotion established at the University of Alberta.

Eligibility
Awarded annually to a continuing student registered in a master of science (MSc) or master of public health (MPH) degree program in health promotion at the University of Alberta, who has completed a minimum of 12 credits of course work.
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic excellence (grade point average of 3.5 or greater in the most recent 12 credits of course work in the master's program) and demonstrated commitment, spirit, leadership and initiative at the University of Alberta and in the health promotion community.
Part-time students are eligible for the award.

Eligible applicants must provide:
- A completed Award and Scholarship Application form (including the general appraisal), and
- A current curriculum vitae.
Eligible students should submit the form and CV as one Word document to sph.programs@ualberta.ca.
Deadline
Deadlines vary somewhat from year to year. The current year's deadline will be announced in May.
