Smitty Library
Smitty Library, more formally known as the D. E. Smith Reading Room in Psychology, reopened on October 21, 2002, after being closed for many years. The library is named after D. E. Smith, who at one time was the Head of Philosophy and Psychology, and eventually became the Dean of Arts and Science at the University of Alberta.
Located on the 2nd floor of the Psychology wing, this library has a diverse collection of journals and books related to psychology. Many hard-to-find journal issues from as far back as the 1950s are available, along with a large number of issues from the 1970s and 1980s. Instead of waiting days for material to be sent over from BARD (Book and Record Depository), why not see if Smitty has it?
