Research
The University of Alberta is one of the premier research-intensive universities in Canada. Known widely as a research powerhouse, its scientists, scholars, and artists attract approximately $400 million in funding each year. The Department of Psychology has a vibrant, active research culture including 35 academic staff members, 6 postdoctoral fellows, and 64 graduate students. Our faculty and trainees hold grants from all Canadian Tri-Council funding agencies, as well as provincial, international, and university funding sources.
