Khaldoon Aljerian
Khaldoon Aljerian, MD, MHSc, FCAP, FRCPC is a clinical professor of pathology at the University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry and adjunct professor at the John Dossetor Health Ethics Centre. Khaldoon is a certified pathologist by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta and Ontario. As well, he is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada and the College of American Pathologists. Dr. Aljerian is currently a pathologist at the division of Anatomical Pathology, University of Alberta Hospital, Alberta Health Services, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He specializes in autopsy and it has paved the pathway to his Master of Ethics at the Joint centre of Bioethics, University of Toronto. Khaldoon speaks for the dead (as one of the underprivileged "human" categories) and they speak for the living!
