Jamie Robertson

Jamie Robertson, PhD, HEC-C, is the Clinical Ethicist serving the University of Alberta Hospital, the Stollery Children’s Hospital, and the Mazankowski Heart Institute as member of the Alberta Health Services Clinical Ethics Service. She has a doctorate in philosophy from York University and completed a Fellowship in Clinical and Organizational Ethics through the Centre for Clinical Ethics. She was subsequently employed as a Clinical Ethicist by the Centre for Clinical Ethics, providing healthcare ethics support in a range of environments including academic health sciences centres, community hospitals, long-term care, community care, and specialized mental health facilities. Her role involves supporting careful consideration of ethical issues that arise in healthcare decision-making.
