Maeve O'Beirne

Dr Maeve O'Beirne is an Associate Professor and Director of the Patient Centered Medical Home and Quality at the Department of Family Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Calgary. Her research interests include patient safety in community based practices and maternal nutrition as it relates to maternal and fetal outcomes. She also has an interest in Natural health products and their interactions with pharmaceuticals as well as using diet and natural health products instead of pharmaceuticals. Dr. O'Beirne has been the PI on a CIHR grant that developed a reporting and learning system for primary care physicians, teaching them quality improvement methods and is currently working on ASRLS. She is not accepting graduate students at this time.
