About Us
Engineering Technical Services is an amalgamation of the engineering departments, machining, electronics, and specialist technicians, designed to provide the highest value to you, our customers, with maximum efficiency.
Engineering Technical Services is administrated by the Mechanical Engineering Department and provides services to the entire Faculty of Engineering.
Engineering Technical Services operates in the following locations:
- Design Consultation Office (MEC 2-7)
- Machine Shop (MEC E 1-19 & ECERF W1-033)
- Service Desk (MEC E 1-19)
- Electronics Shop (MEC E 3-13)
- Materials Testing Shop (MEC E 1-10)
We offer a multitude of services that are split between design consultation, general machining, electronics design and testing, and materials testing.
