Contractor Management

To hire a contractor please contact the Engineering Facilities, Safety and Risk Management team. All contractors must be pre-qualified by Engineering Facilities, Safety and Risk Management team before a PO is generated for any work in a faculty or department controlled space. To request a contractor pre-qualification to be completed please contact the Engineering Facilities, Safety and Risk Management team and provide the following details for the contractor you plan to hire.

  • A copy of the company's health and safety manual
  • Certificate of Recognition (COR) certificate
  • WCB Clearance Letter
  • WCB Premium Rate Statement
  • Insurance Policy ($2 - $5 million based on scope of work)
