ALES Mini-Internship Program

The ALES Mini-Internship Program (AMIP) offers a unique opportunity for students to get first-hand learning experience on careers in agriculture, life, and environmental sciences. Twice a year during the Fall and Winter reading weeks, this program matches students with an industry specific organization for a visit and volunteer work.

Program Benefits

  • Gain hands-on experience within animal agriculture, veterinary medicine, crop sciences, government, food production, forestry and environmental sciences.
  • Test a career option you’re interested in before you make a commitment to pursue it.
  • Make connections and build relationships with a wide range of people to build your professional network.

Applications for the Fall 2024 program commence at 9 am on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024 and will close at midnight on Friday, October 4th, 2024. AMIP will run from November 13th to 15th, 2024.
