Every child matters

The Campus Saint-Jean community celebrates National Day of Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day on Tuesday, October 1.

24 September 2024

Every year, the Campus Saint-Jean community remembers the experiences and loss of thousands of children stolen from their families and placed in residential schools.

We pay tribute to those who never returned.

This year, Campus Saint-Jean is organizing a half-day of activities on Tuesday, October 1, as Monday, September 30 is a holiday. We invite members of the community to wear an orange shirt on this day.

NB: Pop-up sale of orange shirts at Campus Saint-Jean by the University of Alberta Bookstore on Thursday, September 26, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., at the MCM Student Lounge. Please note: payment by debit/credit card only.
