Success at the Jeux de la Science Politique
2 February 2024
A team of 32 Campus Saint-Jean students, led by Maya Mohammed and Taylor Good, won three trophies at the Jeux de la Science Politique (Political Science Games) held at the Université de Sherbrooke in Quebec in January. This competition brought together nine French-speaking universities and consisted of eight academic events, a sporting event, and social events. This was the second time that our students took part in these games, and they once again distinguished themselves: Campus Saint-Jean came 4th (5th in 2023) out of the nine universities present (ahead of McGill and UOttawa!).
Our team's accomplishments include:
- Second place in Active Politics (trophy)
- Third place in Sport (trophy)
- Sportsmanship Award (trophy)
- three fourth places (Academic Case, Political Journalism, and Social Events)
- Sixth place in International Cooperation
- Coup de coeur (special mention) in Intergovernmental Relations
Well done to the whole team. We're so proud of you!
