What Gyeongin National University of Education has to offer:

  • Is a national institution that provides training for future public elementary school teachers in South Korea
  • Aims to teach and study profound academic theories and methods for the development of the nation and human society
  • Trains students to be leaders, and cultivate competent teachers for elementary school education
  • Has extensive facilities; including an elementary school attached to the University
  • Students can take a 4 hour/week Korean language course (non-credit) to help them adapt to the language and life in Korea.

Students applying for this exchange are also encouraged to apply for funding through the Alberta-Korea Young Scholars Exchange Award.
