International Agreements

The University of Alberta works to maintain active partnerships throughout the world, contributing to a global university environment and a strong international profile.

With more than 700 international agreements with governments, universities, and other organizations in over 80 countries, UAlberta is able to support a wide variety of activities, including student exchanges and internships, student sponsorships, faculty exchanges, training programs, and developing research partnerships.

Under UAlberta’s Contract Review and Signing Authority Policy (including Schedule A), UAI is responsible for review and approval of all international agreements. To propose a new agreement, please see our new agreements page. For renewals, please click here.
